We are a Bible-believing, Apostolic Pentecostal church committed to the Great Commission.

Preamble

God’s word is the authority for His great commission, which He has chosen to share with His people, the saints, and the church. The universal church is seen in concrete form, interacting with the community in the form of local congregations (churches) of believers.
The church is the ‘salt’ and the ‘light’ of the world. The responsibility of the church is based on the purpose of God as revealed in his word. It’s priority and primary focus is to proclaim the word of God to all people and in all parts of the world, persuading them to place their faith in Christ who reconciles them with God. Those believing men and women experience the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who assures them of peace and hope.

The W.L.G.C I hereto, and those who shall subsequently qualify for membership, declare their purpose to join their hearts and hands together in honoring God and His word, in the priority common task of: The great commission as stated in the bible, The furtherance of the Gospel in its totality; The defense and confirmation of the Gospel and The fellowship of the Gospel;

Local churches are institutions, instruments and vessels for providing a true Christian community, which expresses itself in oneness of fellowship, co-operatively working together making disciple for Christ.

WINGS OF LIFE GOSPEL CHURCH INTERNATIONAL believes that the world-wide united witness to the gospel on the part of all believers is the most essential need of a world torn by conflicting ideologies and philosophies and as yet unaware that Christ is the solution to their grave problems. We believe that all Christians are brothers and sisters in Christ, which is the cornerstone of being citizens of God’s kingdom. And on this basis we are all members of the team for fulfilling the great commission.

WINGS OF LIFE GOSPEL CHURCH INTERNATIONAL is a Christian church dedicated to the evangelization of the whole world for the healing of the whole man (body, soul and spirit) through the restoration of the New Testament Christianity.

It is committed to nothing but the Gospel and to the Gospel plus nothing. It affirms that there is only one Christ in whom sinful human beings may find salvation, namely the Lord Jesus Christ of the New Testament, the divine-human mediator, crucified, risen, reigning and returning, our Savior, Lord, High Priest and Shepherd for time and eternity.

It is opposed to every religious accretion, which corrupts the gospel. This includes SECTARIANISM, SUBJECTIVISM, MYSTICISM,, TECHNIQUES,,NATIONALISM,. So we affirm that salvation is Jesus Christ plus nothing minus nothing- for in him dwells all the fullness of Godhead and in him we are complete (Colossians 2:9).

Our goal is to minister the word of God and the power of God to the lost, the sick, the oppressed and the broken-hearted. To be a refuge where people can find salvation, acceptance, love, hope, help, joy, guidance, healing and encouragement

WINGS OF LIFE GOSPEL CHURCH INTERNATIONAL HAS THREE WINGS, NAMELY:

  1. THE MISSION WING: Church planting, Evangelism through crusades, schools and college ministries, prisons and hospitals ministries, etc.
  2. THE COMPASSION WING: Helping the needy, destitute and orphans in the community, and counselling those with various needs.
  3. TRAINING WING: To equip the believers for the work of the ministry through Bible Study, Conferences, Seminars and Training Centres and informal and formal schools to fight illiteracy.

The Wings of Life Gospel Church is pressing on with God’s vision to reach out to the world with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and his kingdom, as a family church fulfilling the great commission in obedience to the call of God. Our vision has been shaped by the following ideas: 

  • In doctrine- We are an Apostolic, Pentecostal Church established upon the truths of Biblical revelation.
  • In practice- We expect to experience our doctrine, by the active presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our church. We emphasize in our midst the following qualities:
  1. A personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ – We believe we cannot effectively please God without growing towards him in faith. This involves a solid prayer life and Godly character.
  2. Balance – We want to be balanced in our message, in our spiritual expression, and in our dairy walk.
  3. Community – God has called us to be the salt and light of the world. Through we aren’t all called to visible and powerful positions, we are all changed to influence our world
  4. Unity – As a local church we recognize that we are only one part of the great body of Christ.
  5. As individuals – We know that we must be joined together, encouraging one another in making this bodywork.

Members of Wings of Life Gospel Church believe in: –

  1. The one true God ,who is Eternal {Isaiah 57:20} Everlasting {Psalms 90:20} and Holy {Isaiah 57:15}, the creator and preserver of all things, who created man, male and female, in his own image and gave them dominion over the earthly creation.
  2. The deity and humanity of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ, who being very God, also become man, being begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, died and buried, was raised bodily from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father: whose two natures continue eternally and inseparably joined together in one person.
  3. In the Holy Spirit of  God and the necessity of his work to make the death of Christ effective to the individual sinner, granting him repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in his ministry of dwelling within and working through the believer for godly life and service.
  4. The divine, verbal and plenary inspiration and infallibility of the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as originally given and their absolute and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
  5. The universal sinfulness and guilty of human nature since the fall, rendering mans subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
  6. The sacrificial death of our representative and substitute, the Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, by the shedding of His blood atonement was made for the sins of the whole world and whereby alone men are redeemed from the guilty, penalty and power of sin and death.
  7. The necessity of the new birth and that men are saved by grace through faith not by works.
  8. The maintenance of good works and obedience to the revealed will of God in life and service, through which eternal rewards shall be received.
  9. The true church, whose head is the Lord Jesus Christ and whose members are all regenerate persons united to Christ and to one another by baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  10. The observance of the ordinance of Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as appointed by the Lord Jesus Christ.
  11. The supreme mission of the church as being to glorify God and preach the Gospel to every creature.
  12. The personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ: –
    1. The rapture (the catching-up of the church) (1Thess.4: 16,17)
    2. The tribulation (Rev.3: 10; Matt.24:29)
    3. The Millennial reign of Christ (Rev.20:6)
    4. The literal resurrection of the body. The physical resurrection of all people.
    5. The eternal blessedness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.
